The eSkootr Championship 2024/25 Rider Recruitment Programme is now open. What does it take it take to race in the world’s first electric scooter racing series and how do you apply? Find out below.
Who can become an eSC rider?
We are looking for athletes over the age of 18 who have previous experience in sports requiring balance, speed and agility.
What kind of experience do I need to be able to apply?
Applicants must have a professional sporting background. This does not necessarily have to be in racing but we will require demonstrable professional credentials in your application.
How do I apply?
There is a simple online form that you will need to fill out sharing your experience and credentials. You can fill it out here.
The form asks me to submit a video. What kind of video should I submit?
We want to see your skills in action. This can be a 30 second clip shot on iPhone or a link to you competing in the Olympics. This will give us a chance to understand if you are suited to eSkootr racing.
How long are applications open for?
Applications will be open for one month and will close on June 30th 2024 at 23:59 BST. Applications submitted after this date will not be considered.
What are the next steps if I am selected?
We will invite selected athletes to our rider trial event where you will have the chance to ride the S1-X and impress our Team Principals. We will let you know in July if you are invited to attend this event.
WillI be notified if I am not selected?
Due to the amount of applicants that we typically get, we will not be able to notify you individually if you have not been selected. If you have not heard from us by the end of July, you can assume that you have not been selected.
