The eSkootr Championship revealed the first team livery for the upcoming season of the electric racing championship with Harrie Silver’s SlipStream.
For the new season, eSC is launching 10 brand-new teams along side our newly appointed Team Principals. To date, eight Team Principals have already been announced. Each new team will be revealing their new livery to reflect the Team Principal’s unique angle, experience, background and passions, bringing to life the diversity of the eSkootr Championship’s team leadership.
UK gaming content creator Harrie Silver dreamt up the name SlipStream to combine her passion for gaming and her role as Team Principal – integrating the word “stream” to reflect her online presence whilst making an overall reference to speed and the ambition to be the fastest team on track.
“What inspired the design for my SlipStream logo and livery was ultimately the colours and styles I’ve enjoyed incorporating into my office and what people see every time they visit my streams! To me, it’s important to have a specific style and set of colours that I fall back on, to feel like it’s instantly recognisable if people fall upon my creative space or social media. And I also want that to be the case for SlipStream, I want people to instantly recognise who we are through our colours and style.”
The SlipStream logo integrates the emblematic lightning bolt which has become synonymous with electric mobility online but also emphasizes the energy that powers the eSC season. The stand-out purple hues are bold and disruptive, departing from more traditional motorsport designs and introducing a gamified look.
Reflecting on the design process, Harrie said “The team at the eSkootr Championship were amazing in helping design my livery and branding, I sent them a mood board with hues and colours that I really enjoy as well as patterns and shapes. Mostly purples, oranges and blues with lightning bolts and waved lines. On the wall in my office, I have very similar purple lights going across the wall in a waving pattern.”
The SlipStream livery was designed by MFX wraps in collaboration with Harrie and eSC. SlipStream is the first of 10 new liveries to drop for the upcoming season with more to be revealed in the coming weeks.
